Hey Everyone! I finally got my concept art finished, and have started the modeling process for my armor. This is my suit, coded "Osprey" until it has a proper name. the two paint schemes here are Boarding Party (Blue) and Bird of Prey (Brown), both attributed to the bird it's based on. I know that the Post-Empire style has not been approved yet, but I'm trying to proactively attempt this suit and be ready for applications to reopen (Besides, I made the armor easy to switch styles to Modern if need be). Big parts being developed right now are the Shoulders, Blasters, and Helmet. I have really solid 3D files to either use or work on myself for the gauntlets (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3986912) and chest plates as well as the thigh guards. The helmet is a kitbash of the NME Stalker and the Pre Vizsla helmet from CW 4-5, just wanted the Pre to be more armored. the shoulders are inspired by Neo-Crusader, but they have been adapted for a much later style like this one. the blaster pistol is an A180 Blastech with some slight mods like a pull hook at the bottom of the handle and a front sight, and the Blaster Rifle is my own design which for now is known as "Talon." It is a Martini Henry base with a front barrel similar to the DLT-19 and an end bayonet fashioned from a Vibro-Axe.
this will be my first Mando, so please let me know what you think, and I'll do what I can to make the building interesting!
