Title: survival pack make over
Post by: Blackfeather on Feb 02, 2014, 04:30 PM
OK so since I made OM and Brigade its only pushed me even more to make my  kit as detailed as possible I didn't really like my pack when i made it  to me seemed thrown together . So after weeks of looking around and thinking and staring  and staring some more I have decided to instead of upgrading current pack I am just gonna build a new one a better one that I feel fits my BEAST HUNTER I will be going with a scratch built pvc frame pack ..with my own take on the beast hunter pack and his need for outer rim survival .
here is my current pack it's ok just not what i think it should be .

As said, that pack is awesome already and you're hoping to go above that and beyond. I can't wait to see what you pull out next.

Ok so here is my general idea . I will be making a frame pack it will be more functional than my previous pack with a more "modular " set up I will not be using pack straps the frame will clip onto my back plate just like my previous pack. It will contain a new Ewok pelt main pack with attached Mynock wing pouches my net bed roll and other survival accessories needed for long periods of time away from the ship and base camp . heres a pic of the frame idea .I am open to suggestions if you have an idea i love to hear it .

the straps are sewn into my vest and help with support for my pack

heres the frame laid out not glued I wont glue it just because i like the option to rearrange it if i want
