Flak Vest - Zippers,Clips, and other sewable notions

Hello OM's. Looking at the CRL's it states that flak vests must have a hidden zipper. I was considering using parachute clips on each side of the flak vest. Was wondering if this style of attachment/closure would be acceptable if viewable.

Yup, that's how mine is fastened:

If you use zippers they have to be hidden. Not, you must use zippers.
