A couple of spacing issue in the chest maybe. But as there isn't a great straight on shot it could be how you are standing.

Hi all ;D

Sorry for the late reply...

In fact, seen your replies but I'm kinda on a celibacy weeks lol
Took a few days to rest my mind, clear my head, thinking better on building, etc, etc but the addiction to MMCC is too much :P

@Kris, I putted the sleeves under the gloves, thats why they look baggy lol ;)
I believe the plates are good, never had problems so far  ;)

So, today a small UPDATE - 22-12-2016

Finally my new baby's are home  ;D 8)

A few more Comic Con pics:

Have problems with boots attachment  :(
Was almost crying and anyone can see ahah

My gf and I with 501st mates, we're invited to the parade  ;D
Wow, that a feeling, at a moment, speechless  ;D 8)

Another close up  ;D Where u can see the bicep armor I made

Since I realized I wont have gaunts for the Comic Con and in order to not feel so much "naked" (AHAH), I made this small bicep armor.
And havent provided any pics from the shnees:

I was chatting with Raestin on Facebook (ty and sorry for be anoying ), who helped me with his opinion on sizing, etc  ;D
Have heated and shapped to my leg, freehanded and the knee part I've redesigned twice lol

Now, point of situation:

- Need to study and google for anothers gaunts wips, since will be the 1st time ever I work with pepakura/fiber glass and I've no idea what to do now with them, attachment, etc;
- Currently looking for ARC pauldron or "standard" pauldron:
Ebay Version:

Corsair Kids version (like this more):

- Currently looking for a new belt with more pouches, like Boba Fett's:
Jedi-Robes from UK:

- Once gaunts are finished, will look the overall and (maybe) build bicep armor (or not)
- Have EE-3 3D files for printing
- Since Summer I've Verp Templates (Cortesy from the European Commander Nirob)
- Since I brook one shnee, once gaunts are finished, study if will continue with this model or make a new one
- Imperial Rank Bar on transit (Cortesy of a 501st mate  8)) + buy 1 or 2 more from Spain  ;D
My 501st friend will send this small:

And will choose 1 or 2 from here:

- Add Mando writing + kill stripes (only one on the hand plate)

And I think its only for now lol  ;D

Any opinion on the pauldron/belt?  ???

Ty all and happy holidays  ;D

Update - 02-01-2017

Hi all, Happy New Year  ;D

Last week one rank bar came in and will buy another one. The second will be already finished, since its 501st approved  :)

Last days tried to start working on my gaunts but I frozen  :-\ I dont know what to do  :-\ :(

Have decided to buy a pauldron  :) I spend few hours looking on Bounty Hunter Guild and 501st Clone Detach trying to find an Arc (and I found) but I didnt realized that they were a bit expensive, range from >150$ + Shipp to Europe (and since will stop on the Costums and another 23% Tax, damn...). So, decided to get one from Spain, standard one.

Since I broke one shnne, I decided to take the TMA BOGO Promo and will buy shins + knees.
I found the tutorial page very helpfull and the promo itself, I think will be "better" for me, since I'm aiming to Brigades and, well, "may" I get more "chances" with shins + knees than shnees, but well, thats a story for another time and now is a step by step method  ;)

Now, atm thinking (or re-thinking) the overall of my armor  :-\
1 - Since in a few months will start working on my shins + knees, maybe different colors on them
2 - Maybe cover with more blue the torso
3 - I'm (was?) aiming to sniper brigade, but been thinking a lot on bicep armor  :-\

I loved the one I have with the Rebellion Symbol  ;D The only concern was the attachment, since was a bit large and from times to times the plate dropped down a bit and I need to fix it tigher and harder  :-X
Since I'll buy a pauldron, hum, BRL's, hum, need to think better cause its more Heavy than Sniper lol  :-\

That certainly fits the CRLs, so no worries there.  And according to Wookiepedia Verpine Shatter Rifles are sniper rifles.  Scroll down a little bit on that entry if you check out the link.  Ostensibly, your verp as it is should qualify for a sniper rifle for the Sniper Profession of the Special Operations Brigades.  The Brigade Marshall might want you to extend the barrel or add camouflage or other modifications, so it's good that you're prepared to modify it as needed.  But the weapon itself should definitely qualify.

I think Kai Ree'tat is the Special Operations Brigade Marshall, so feel free to send him a PM and ask.

test fit the gaunts  over your flightuit and gloves before trimming or you won't have enough space. Also, don't go too tight or you won't have space for padding/any ability to move your arm

Update - 15-03-2017

Been slowly "upgrading" some parts, specially upper armor and yesterday painted a bit more:

At first, was thrilled about this, matching the upper armor with the same mettalic blue of the helmet... now, I really dont know... yesterday was looking at the upper armor a few minutes and I feel kinda strange... I really dont know... Been used to "all white" armor...  :-\

What do you think of this?  :-\ ??? Am I on the right track? Applying and painting this?  ??? :-\ ty :-X

Personal preference, vod.

I like it as to me, it breaks up the white a little bit.  I did the same thing on my first kit by painting my chest diamond yellow surrounded by all dark green plates.  :)

I like it blue. I also liked the all white. I think I'd also like blue swirly patterns on the white - but that's what I'd do if it was my kit. There's nothing wrong with testing colour designs. I'm on design 3, the first couple I tried just weren't right for me.

Always remember though - it's your kit. There are some out there that I hate the colour schemes of - but if the owner of that kit is happy with them then it is good.

Work on the rest, kit up in it all and have another look, it may fit better with the overall look than just the plates on the vest.

^This.

I also liked the all-white version of your kit, but I admit the blue dashes do give it a touch. Maybe the contrast is high with plain white and plain blue plates, but still, looks very good.
To second Kris' words, it's your kit vod. There's nothing wrong with colour testing and pattern changes. It's what you build it for, to make it to your liking.

All in all, Heavier and Urban are the 2 that are currently fitting me, cause of the overall color of my kit, verp, etc  :-[ :P Humbly will try to do my best and try humbly to bet quality clause, my main concern  :-X :(

Personally I like the blue plates. They give it just enough contrast to make the white pop visually. And it all ties together.

But as others have said, its your kit vod. Make what makes you happy. We don't have to wear it, you do. If you're not happy with it you won't wear it much and nobody wants that :D

Update - 20-04-2017

Well, time to update this  ???

Yesterday while shopping finally found what I was looking for ages: a horn and a detonator

Already Q&A about this 2 situations: If the horn could go as a trophy and if I need to bond and paint those "marks" or maybe wrap them in some kind of fabric (?)

If this could go as a detonator prop for my kit (UA requires 3 min) and will fill both holes and match paint - black
Well, lets see what APP Team says  :-\ ???

Last week, my gf kit from TMA arrived:

Very well done, amazing work  ;) (didnt quite understand well why TMA is "bad mouth" on Facebook and so on), cause the work is amazing, ty David  ;)

ahah

Well, I bought Shins + Knees on the BOGO Sale and already started to work on my knees:
- Sanded a bit with 600 and 1200 grit, glued with epoxy and clamped:

Not sure if will apply knee darts  :-\ :-X Been thinking and maybe will cover all around with hot glue and give the idea of "welding" (please see last pic), dont know, lets see... :-\ ???

This week decided to suit up a bit and I dont know... I think I'm lack of confidence again... kinda stuck... out of ideas... specially regarding the new paint scheme... dont know where apply stripes and the shape of them... the mando'a writing... symbols...
Out of ideas leads to bad feelings like "i dont know what the hell im doing..." and something like that, thats leads to out of confidence that leads to nowhere/nothing... s**t  :'( :'(

Horn looks good as is.
Detonater will be good once the holes are filled as you said.

Avoid hot glue 'welding' it usually gets pulled as bad glue work rather than looking like welding.

And it looks fine. There really is no rush to add anymore paint, keep working on other parts and you may find that suddenly you know exactly what you want. I spent months trying different ideas on a pad of paper and nothing was right and then one day I just looked at my armour and decided I wanted a V shape and I've kept it ever since.

Update - 17-05-2017

Revive old thread!!!

EDIT: Sorry Kris, I've Q&A 1st and then posted here, so sorry (and ty) for your double feed-back  :P ;)

Last weeks didnt have enought time to work on my kit, but have a upgraded soft parts - new Swiss Bandolier from a 501st mate  ;D

It has more pouches, for me is a lot better cause of the powerbanks  :P
And its has a better look than the older ones, more "star warszy" look

Yesterday bought 40 snaps (40 * 4 pieces ), which will be better to attach some parts of the kit, meanly knees  ;) will not use staps, only snaps attaching in front and sides, on the flight suit  ;)
Also will attach my (future) shins (atm on Portuguese Customs >:( >:() and maybe backplate... :P

This weekend we had our 1st MMCC armor party in Portugal (unofficial of course ahah) and tried to do backplate :-\

Obviusly was very hard to shape ahah   didnt quite know if will continue to work on it or maybe will do a Legacy one  :-X :-\
Been thinking and legacy could be better to shape and work, and could be better attached with snaps than the "standard one"  ???

Any advice on this matter?  :-\ ;)
