My first Kit, approved!

So, this is my first kit, figured I'd share the app photos here.  Wish me luck.











Quick "down the barrel shot" with my daughter having a, er... blast with my carbine.  The greeblie inside is a spindle from a hard drive.  No one will probably ever notice it, but I know it's there.  xD



Comments welcome.  Biting my nails waiting for the app team feedback.

You should be fine without the backplate, a friend of mine is approved with a duster similar to yours and doesn't have a backplate.  Great job on your kit, I like the colours!

Thanks all.  :)  Just did my first official troop at FandomFest in Louisville, KY.  Always a lot of fun to kit up.  As far as the belt pouches...  I can do my own leather work, but when I saw that full set (minus the belt) for less than it would cost me to make, I had to snap it up.

So...  Did some camping with my family including brother and his wife at Mammoth Cave, KY this past weekend.  We took our kits with us.  Despite 90 degree weather with near 100% humidity, we did a mini photo shoot at a point on the park's "Heritage Trail". This is probably my favorite shot of me from that shoot:
