Question - Are these boots acceptable?

I have a question about:

I'm trying to avoid the use of shin and boot armor as I'm going for a somewhat lighter build of my kit. Would either of these pair of boots be acceptable?

Providing any zips are on the inner seam and are colour matched then either of those will work, although the 2nd, light grey set look more in universe than the darker grey.
