So  I was trying make some cybernetic implants for my mando and sith. Inspired by SWTOR MMO again
First tries were 4 years ago... let say very quick attempts using  silver tape and markers.

This year I decided finaly try liquid latex stuff :O
It was not so hard.



1. Made shapes from plastic,plasticine, foam, and other greeblies. Use your imagination. Better if surface is smooth else you get some textures.
2. Make a mold. Put them into plastic container and pour on top plaster of Paris.
3. Wait till hardens, pull it out. Touch up your mold, sand it, or scrap excess with a knife.
4. Brush multiple layers of liquid latex, wait till dries, try avoid geting bubbles. You get those skin like thin shapes :p
5. Paint them with acrilic paint. Trim it.
6. Brush spirit gum on implants,  wait a bit  for glue to start dry and slap it on your face. Enjoy!

My  first try to make zabrak horns and make up.



Shaped horns from the Friendly Plastic or else called Hand mouldable Polymorph Thermoplastic,  using only hot and cold water.  It took me 15 min  and you can reuse that plastic for something else just put in hot water.
After painted them  with acrilic paint and sealed with laquer.

Think for future, will do other ones from latex, to make more light. And hide eye brows with make up.

This year redid my zabrak horns and make up.
Horms now much lighter, made from foam clay.
Very easy to use. Just take clay out of the package, mold it, leave it to dry. Then paint it  same as you paint eva foam.

As a fellow Zabrak, how would you apply these, spirit gum?  And any suggestions as to make one look like a broken one that has healed as a stump?

Try look at google for broken animal horns for reference and just sculpt it and paint.
