Hey everyone,

So I have been kitting around bits and pieces of a new kit for a good three or four months now. But as I have a deep love for Privateer kits, and well Legacy will also be my first mando love, I always somehow end up back here. The made goal with the mark three is going to be applying a whole pile of new skills I have picked up over the last year to really push this build to the next level.

What is done already is most of the soft good sewing. There is still weathering that needs to be done, also the leather work for the belt is finished, granted there is still more leatherwork in need of doing.

OOOOOOOOH  that chest armor is to die for. Nice eye on that blaster Rob. Can't even really tell at this point. Is that the original grip and trigger from an MP40 though?

It is the original grip. I cut down the barrel, added a number of greebs to the body of the rifle, slapped a nice DL-44 scope on it and gave it a nice new paint job and called it a day.

And I had a lot of fun with chest plate. I really wanted to kick it up to the next level this go around.

Dude....I'm not gonna lie.  That carbine is just gorgeous. 

Great work on everything man.  I can't wait to see the new helmet added to the kit too.

Partial test kit up, with chest/backplate, shin/knee armor, gaunts. Only major things left are the helmet and the shoulder armor

I just made it out of duck cloth and some suede backed fur for the collar. I got a sew machine as a gift last month and since have been going a bit crazy learning new skills. Really sewing is just like armor making just with cloth 

And thanks Ohl'd Vart, I am super happy with it, plan on knocking out the shoulders tomorrow!

Finished the shoulder armor today, still need to do a bit more weathering. But otherwise they are done. Going to do knock out some more small detail work over the weekend and then I will post up another test kit up

I love everything about this kit so far! It looks amazing! How did you weather the flak vest? What did you use?

I used very very watered down bleach in a spray bottle about a 20 to 1 ratio and then misted from about five feet away, then I used acrylic paints and dry brushed those into the fabric, after than I grounded the whole thing into my driveway and tossed it into the dryer so the paint would set into the fabric and then repainted the paint process a few more times until the color was really set in and it was at a level I was happy with.
