Redetailing my MP blaster a bit more
« on: Oct 25, 2017, 07:52 PM »
I'm using a Supertrooper  UZI style blaster for my Mandalorian Protector. I didn't want to really use a well known Boba Fett style blaster, so I went with the Supertrooper style and I feel it is fitting. This is not going to be a replica of the real prop, but it will look cool and fitting when done.
Original pic when I was approved.

I added plastic sheet to the stock to fill in the stock's gaps.  I took off the top middle knob, got rid of the sling, and then I cut off the front and back sight humps to match the prop more..

It is now in paint and I will post pics when it is dry.
I want to get a real metal Graflex replica top for and replace the resin one on there now when I get some extra funds.

Thanks! I totally agree, I already called Boba Fett anyway, but I still would rather have a different blaster at this point.
If this guy can carry the same style, I think it is fitting.

I did a little more last minute surgery on the blaster to sleeken it up a bit more like the real prop. I also added some greeblies to make it mine. I just gotta get a metal replica Graflex end to finish it off at some point.

Thanks!
The real prop has a Graflex top on the end of the blaster , I've got a resin one that I have damaged several times already and I want a metal one to replace the resin one on the end of the blaster.

It's spelled "Canon", not "Cannon".
