Hey so I want to attach my next kit with magnets, what size, brand, style etc do you all recommend? if you can give me a website too that'd be great! how did you attach them? I was going to E-6000 to the plates and then sow pockets into my best for the other half...?

Thanks!

I use the 3mm Magnets they sell at home depot, Ive used other brands from Amazon, but I find that these work best. I e6000 them to the plates and the other magnets are just duck taped behind the vest. They stay in place like this. If you need to reposition the plates for spacing, just remove the duck tape and shift them where you want to go.

Duct tape!!! i love that idea!!! I purchased soem rare earth magents on amazon, little more expensive but are bigger and have a higher strength rating. I was planning on using E-6000 for the plates but I love the duct tape idea thank you!

Be careful, I ordered some " bigger and higher strength" magnets from Amazon and they are terrible compared to the home depot ones

This. I am a serious advocate for buying magnets from an actual retailer who specialises in them.

I have bought "N52" magnets from eBay & Amazon that are nowhere near as strong as the "N42" I bought from an actual magnet dealer. The eBay and Amazon magnets were also very brittle in comparison when attaching together.
