Hello all, I’ll be starting my Death Watch build and thanks to some of my Manda’galaar clan mats for the push, I’m super excited about this build. I will be attempting this version I think is LT B. Any feedback or corrections in my build please post, let me know! I want to get this right the first time.

New up date, so along side clan mate (Breyo Fey) been working on stencils and cutting out armor. Got my westars and carbine all pieced together. I used 6mm sintra and 3/4” Azek pvc board. Got the aluminum flat stock cut and the round for the barrels. I’ll be cleaning them up and sanded to put a base primer On. Then let them sit till I’m ready to paint everything. Awaiting my shoes and under suit to arrive. I will start on my vest in a few days. Shaping and trimming armor parts for the next couple days, should have the base armor completed by the end of next week. Hopefully! Then start fitting and trim were needed.

Hello everyone, it’s been awhile since my last update. Personal life takes priority.
Anyway, now having a bit of time to tinker and the encouraging support from my clan mate Breyo fey this is what I’ve found. We beleave my  character is a lieutenant A.  There are not many reference pics but I have found I believe enough to go by.

First pic, lower left side bird skull on right shoulder.





This pic, far right. Nothing on left shoulder.



So I started my shoulders.



Then cut my template and painted the bird skull.









Did my hand plates and shins as well.















Working on a few other pieces also and will be posting more of the progress of them soon.

Thanks,  My clan mate and I looked at a bunch of reference pics and scratch built the whole thing.  Both gauntlets are Sintra and the rockets are cast plastic resin that we did also.

Hello all, it has been a while since my last post but Myself along side Breyo fey have been very busy. Since we make all of our own armor we decided to do our own version of the Death Watch helmet as well.
We started with a 3D printed version that neither of us were happy with so we chopped it up and put it back together. Reshaped it then spent a lot of time prepping this thing to be as clean of a master as possible. We looked at all the reference pics we found. Never any other makers helmet! Only pics from the show. This helmet is 100% completely our version and no way recasted.
That being said,
Here is the work I have done on my bucket.

Starting with the raw cast.



Putting together the antenna.



Mounted it to the helmet. Some prep work was needed.



Cut out the back for vent.







Touched up all the chrome then dusted the gray.









Masked of for the blues.









Unmasked it all then started white washing or dry brushing white.









Added the white in the check area.





Then started on the design of my guy. With this I penciled in the design then hand painted it.







White washed the blue did the antennae.



Added the visor.





I will add some padding later and start back up on my soft goods. I’ll be posting more soon,
