Hello
I've been working on my new (canonical) project for some time.
I know that in the meantime the first Mandalore the Ultimate costume arrived in our ranks.
applause for the creator because it makes an impression.
however, I decided to share my progress with you on this figure with you 😉

at the beginning, I present how the mask was created.
PVC base for this paper mass, hardeners and paint

I am basing mainly on illustrations from comic books.
Armor is also created in consultation ,with the clan Rus'alor.

One thing I have noticed with many of the Mandalore the Ultimate builds, that doesn't seem to match the comic references, is the use of the gold on the gauntlets and shnees. To my knowledge, the only image with this color scheme is the box art for the gaming miniature, which I am not sure is a canon source. In the comics these pieces are either the same color as the rest of the armor, or a dark red. The only gold in the comic references is on the mask and the axe.

Can you post this comic images that have the color scheme that your armor is goingwith?

You're right, after studying many comic illustrations, there is no golden color.
however, I also suggested clr 501th Legion.
where you have guidelines on the golden color used for painting.
I wonder why Legion clr  is different so much from the requirements of the MMCC, where there is no explicit clr on the Mandalore The Ultimate.  ???

The 501st CRL was written after a kit with the gold got approved, even though that version doesn't show up anywhere in any canon references.

I'm jumping through hoops with the 501st right now trying to get my kit approved that DOES meet the canon references, but are having issues for the their CRL being incorrect.

Have you already written to the Legion in this matter?
I do not know what to do with my costume now.
my heart is with the MMCC, I already have two official armor, but I also wanted to be a member of 501.
What are you doing?
leave gold and send an app to the Legion?
whether to paint over gray or red and stay in the MMCC.
I have already lost myself now.

Build to MMCC, then explain with references why you went in a direction, I did that with my death watch and now I'm the CRL template.
