My first try at a leather belt and holster.

I had originally made a belt out of black 2" webbing and put some pouches on it. It looked OK but I wanted to do something different. I fount a belt pattern that I liked on Facebook and printed out the pattern. I had to add some extension pieces to the pattern so that it would fit around my waist. I got the custom holster pattern from Tandy Leather. I put 2 pieces of poster board together and laid out the holster pattern. That way when I cut it out I would have an identical right and left patterns. I made the pattern for the holsters long so that I could shorten them up if they hung too low on my side. I also made a pattern to hold my thermal detonators on my belt.

Layout of the holsters

Laying out the patterns so that I don't have a lot of waste

You can kind of get the jist of what it's going to look like

I ordered the large standard rectangle buckle but in the nickel silver finish
