Mission Objective: To encourage children to read and enjoy learning with a Star Wars theme at the Tipp City Library.
Event Report: Rancor Clan Teamed up with the Ohio Garrison and Apollo Base to bring Star Wars to life for the families who attended Family Night at the Tipp City Public Library. The children were able to create their own lightsaber, cut out their favorite character mask, play bean bag toss/cornhole with xwing and death star themed boards and more! Members of the Ohio clubs were able to take photos, hug, and shake hands with the kids while sharing their favorite childhood Star Wars memories with the parents. All children in attendance were entered into a raffle to win free Star Wars Jedi Academy books and a few lucky kids went home with new reading material.
Kurshi BeJahaal was not hurt too badly by the repeated attacks from the younglings and their newly acquired lightsabers.
