Weapon suggestions/ideas?

So, right now im kind of at a loss as to what to do for weapons for my kit. I have a pair of A-180 pistols, but i'd also like a rifle and melee item. Since im going for an arctic themed build, i figured maybe pickaxe/climbing axes, but im not sure how swarsy that would really be. Im also not sure what weapon would really say "mandalorian" or "cold weather" or both. Im leaning towards the rifles the rebels used on hoth maybe? Anyways, if you've got a favourite gun you think i should make, let me know!

For melee I'd just recommend a small knife or something. The rebel blasters would be a good idea, although you could always just go for a Mandalorian Assault Rifle. Up to you though.

An ice axe would be great, just look at some swords hilts and polearms for handle details and swarzyness. Some of the modern ice gear looks pretty sci-fi already!

Are you looking for a weapon, or a tool?

Ice axes, while they can be used to do damage, are more of a tool. Any weapon can be adapted for cold environments. Think about whether you are trying to go for something "Ice" looking, or a weapon that you would actually use in an arctic environment.

kinda looking for both; like, what kind of tools would be suited for an arctic environment outside basic clothing? cleated boots maybe? but yeah, looking more for the practical aspect, not something that looks like it's made of ice haha.

hmm, didn't think of that one!
i did also throw together my own concotion of a gun. still need to straighten some pieces out and fill in seams, but i'm liking how it's turning out so far. gutted a toy AK-47 for the grip and then just built everything else out of scraps and greebles.
