Kit Storage Options?

As I'm starting to build my kit, I see I have a lot of parts to keep track of and that are now just taking up counter space.

How do you store your kit? I can certainly just hang up my flightsuit (once I have one) on a hanger in a closet, but what about all the many armor parts and other soft goods?

I have one that fits in a foot locker and one that fits in a hiking back pack. The big wheeled storage boxes are very common, but they don't fit in my car.
