A neat idea. I just looked into this, and I'm about 90% sure it can be done. I spent some time last night trying to come up with a design that'll fit inside the puck and stand up to some travel/abuse. I'll let you know if I get anywhere on it.

PoV displays are a great idea for replicating most of the hologram displays in SW universe, so it'd be neat to see more of them.
