That's probably just artistic error on my part. These are old and so my anatomy and visual interpretation are... less than accurate.  These were really just designed to help visualize color schemes.

Also Legacy has no spacing as everything is either butted or overlapped slightly. With exceptions to variations in design.

So... There is some variation in plate spacing allowed with the Lagacy kits then?

There are actually two styles of legacy plates. Three if you count mine. Legacy is modern era armor still and I've seen some guys switching plate designs out for others, one example I can think of is switching the chest plates from a boba/Jango style with the legacy chest plates but still having the segmented ab sections and another where the person is using a legacy backplate instead of the regular one with Boba style plates. So as long as you run the thought past an app team member or two you should be golden.

If you don't butt the legacy chest plates together you may get dinged unless you ask an app team member about your armor idea. I Highly recommend asking first with a design concept then move foreward.

The 'standard' Legacy chest plates are butted, so there's still some flexibility right? As long as I'm able to move my arms and hold a shatter rifle comfortably I guess I can go that route.

I saw your build, I likes it a lot    the variation is why I asked, seemed to be some play in how the front of the armor can be assembled.

Little bit. I just read through a bunch of posts on theMadaloeian q&a boards and basically you can mix legacy with boba style plates without issue as long as if looks good. And thank you I've had quite a big of help from a great group in my area.
