i'm moving my WIPs to the general forum rather than clan specific in hopes of more feedback.
i started with the basics.
then i ended up dying the suit.
and putting moly-b all over it for soiling. problem is i think moly-b might wash out. i think a clear coat of spray paint might hold it in. btw i am doing something about the zippers i just don't know what yet.
then i began a side cape and with what was left over i made a waist wrap to go under my honor sash and ammo belt.
made this "trophy". don't know what it is exactly just liked it. it's a couple curtain tiebacks rebraided and wrapped in leather.
for the honor sash i got some small rope and cut 3 sets of 7 strands each. then weaved in another long strand in two sections and hand stitched the edges to keep it from spreading.

this next part didn't come out as well as i had hoped but it will work.
the plan is to do both sides this way and attach either with a leather strap and buckle or dyed elastic and plastic buckles.
i think the leather would look much better but that the elastic might be a better fit.
that's where i'm at on soft parts up to now.
