So .... this is interesting .... thought I'd share ... 

 Earlier this week I called a local Plastics Supplier to get a price on a Sheet of 3mm Sintra.
 I was Quoted $55-60 (by the Idiot on the phone) for a 4'x8' sheet.
This is way more than I remembered so I said 'No thanks' ... 

I stopped in Wednesday to look around at other possibility's ... I was Told they don't cut
sheets down unless you Buy the Whole 4'x8' sheet , and since there were
no Decent free scraps to be had , I left empty handed .... 

Just to be Different I had my Wife Call today .... I gave her all the particulars of what I wanted.
She played stupid and directed the Conversation into just what I wanted.

When they told her that it only Comes in 4'x8' pieces , she Told them that she only wanted
half that much ..... They said ' no problem ... We will sell you a 4'x4' piece for $20.00.
She paid for it over the phone .... done Deal .
They will have it Ready to pick up at noon on Monday ....   

Wait till they See me there to pick it up ....    This should be interesting .

Made a Few Changes ... 


 Since I'm getting a Huge piece of Sintra I'm going to add a Strip
to the Top of the Body and give it a lip , then Add the distinct Dental molding.
 But it Will be of a Ward Arms Design , this is not a Replica .... just inspired ...

This is Shown by the Pattern in the pics ... 


Also because I'm Redoing the Whole Back plate , I will be able to Reclaim the
Cubbie hole with the Greeblies ..... This makes me Very Happy .... I know it's
not a Very highly seen area ... if it's ever Seen bu the public at all would be a Stretch .

But Realism or Believability is a Must at this level of publicity the Mercs Shares with the World .  8)

Ohh .... I also added a Stripe that will mostly be sanded off in the Future weathering ... & Corked the Thrusters ... literally .

I've been looking into a Shorter Cone  ..... I don't always want it with the Rocket either ... 






I'd also Change the Side nose Cones as well .... Just haven't decided on um yet ....

Fully Strapped :

Utilizing the Same Clips as the polar pack .
Simple Strap (Crossed) and attached to the Center Tube.
I have a built in height Adjustment that I'll Show later ...

Checking the Height : Still needs to Come up a Bit I think .
I will adjust it when the Real Back Plate is made and installed.
Here it is with the Cardboard template in place .
