Lol fair enough Point.
Here is a quick shot of the gaunts with and without weathering. As soon as I'm done posting this i will be getting the other gaunt dirty. Not as dirty as the flamethrower but still pretty messy

Here is the old closure method. Just some sticky Velcro cut to fit and acts as a hinge. Works perfect. No problems.

But i travel a lot and that means Tyno goes into checked baggage. And apparently every baggage handler on the planet is a former WWE jobber. Because the gauntlets went in as one unit and they got beat up pretty good despite my packing efforts.
So I needed a way to keep them closed but also take them apart. Simplest solution was Velcro and elastic. Same method my Cpt Rex bucket opens and closes.

Now the gaunts can be broken down and stored a bit more safely to avoid damage caused by my suitcase being body slammed

Here is a close up of the detail on the flamethrower.
When I painted on the white detail stripe the paint cracked and spiderwebbed pretty bad. But as I was doing the "scorch" marks it kind of made the paint look as if it had been damaged by the heat. So it would seem Tyno has enough credits to buy a verp but can't afford heat resistant paint. Or maybe he's broke because he bought a verp
