^^haha i dont quite understand this ^^

but with the little bend in the visor im going to do it after paint because i have a theory that when the paint bubbles from the heat it will give some of the weathering i want if not then battle damage 

but here are some pics of the bucket with the blue and green scale paint job





and the spots where there is no pattern i am using as a template for the battle scaring

so tell me what ya think about it and my technique

Your paint job on this is looking sick. You will have to have a T visor on it to pass CRLs though, but if you’re not interested in doing it as an official kit keep up the great work.

hmmmmm..maybe not the full T...ill look into it and see what i can do about it
i am thinking about mounting a thing to the front since it will be water assault

There have been plenty of approved helmets with respirator like details built into the front. It just needs to resemble a T shape for the visor.

as per request i have fixed it added a bit more to the visor...now i just have to smooth it out and what not

looking good vod.  When you weather it you might want to consider both a dark and light wash to highlight the blue/green scale pattern, it's a bit difficult to see unless you're looking at it from just the right angle.

i have considered that i probably will end up doing a multiple types of weathering including some experimental types of weathering
