Im back people and i have plates heres test fit. the thigh plates may not stay or if they do will need to be trimed. thoughts of improvements will be appreciated

Nice, I'm interested to see what those shoulders look like once the kit is painted up.

thought i give this a week and receive feedback to fix minor or major stuff.  Im too wondering how they will turn up considering i made them from bike helmets i cut up.

Feedback wise this only things I'd say are that I found on us guys with a belly I like the look of 2 abdominal plates combined with a girth belt underneath looks better than the 3 ab plates, and I agree with you that the thigh armour needs some attention but it sounds like you already have an idea where you're going with that.

The shoulders are throwing me off a bit, they look like they could use another section that between the top of the collar section and the top of the bike helmet to mask the look of the helmet.

I agree with Bowfanny on the sholders. In their current state, look like they might hinder mobility more than you might like.

Otherwise I am loving the progress. Keep it up!

they actually move great but i do see bofannys point maybe another shoulder plate ontop.
If i didnt say bike helmet could you tell or is it that obvious.

They give the vibes of helmet turned bells but I think just something to bridge the gap would be a good start, and this is also where an App team member would be perfect to pop in and share some of their wisdom and expertise

I would definitely add something to the top to give it the bridge others have mentioned. Try something out of the references, ie something stacked as such on the top.

sorry about no updates guys, with planning a wedding and trying to find a place to live. build time has gone down but i did cut out plastic to cover that shoulder issue above will post pics today

well shin guards on there way to be painted they have silver underneath the blue for weathering later and have to add a light blue to the knee part. Also added two upper plastic bands to the top so i hope that solves the previous  problem. thoughts concerns?

I think the bridge over the shoulders has indeed added to the heavy armour effect and I couldn't tell what the shoulders were beyond big, round and imposing now.

Minor concern, didn't notice in the previous shots, are those shoulders on the top of your shins? if so - just a warning that you may need to speak to an app team member about how you can modify them, they may not pass unmodded.

i could take out a a square in the center of those upper knee plates,
then they wont look so much like shoulder plates.

greetings everyone, back from an armor party and sunday blood bowl matches.
fixed the shines and got some feedback on my chest plates. gotta patch some holes and sand. I have plans for a rotary cannon and also to make some bombad pistols.
