I like where you're going with the knees, just be sure to give everything a good sanding before you move on to paint.
THe blender parts on the gaunts is an unusual idea, but they look pretty good. it'll take some effort to get the parts blended to the gaunt bases, but the payoff should be pretty grand.

Thanks, I will. For the gauntlets I figured some 70's "found parts" are what it needed.

I second that thought on the knees. Those will look good with some bondo smoothing and paint.
Make sure that you have the logos on the gloves covered up so that they don't come back to haunt you come application day.

Chest plates look a bit large. Could use a trim. Make sure you're giving at least a thumbs width around all edges. Here's kinda what I'm talking about:

Other than that, looks really cool vod! Loving the concept.

Thanks! I have trimmed since then. I still have the collar wide and the gaps tight, but it is better now.

If it's any help, here's how I solved the problem of knee-breakage not being a trooping disaster...

PVC pipe strip around the back of the Foamex/Sintra - I've dropped 3 of our 4 knees now - each survived thanks to the extra bit of reinforcement.

Here's the full section from my WIP on the subject: http://mandalorianmercs.org/forum/index.php?topic=93907.msg1476357#msg1476357
