Boba Fett (Daimyo) – The Book of Boba Fett S1
All armor must be made of a solid material such as fiberglass, styrene, sintra or Vac-formed ABS. Armor must have dimension and give the appearance of thickness and depth according to the visual references of this character. All armor and soft parts must be weathered where indicated in visual references to give the illusion of battle wear and damage.
Helmet
- Dome and lower cheeks are a matte medium green.
- Upper cheeks are a matte black in color, and can have a slight green tint.
- Mandibles, brow, rear band, and the key slots are a matte dark red.
- Right ear is a matte earthen/tan with a black upside-down “U” shape with an inset white shape. This ear must have appropriate black details to match references: these may be painted on or pre-made decals. This ear must have appropriate painted or pre-made details applied to it to match references.
- Left ear is matte olive green in color to contrast with the medium green on the helmet. A white upside-down “U” shape appears at the top portion. This ear must have appropriate black decals applied to it to match references: these may be painted on or pre-made decals.
- Rear panels are a matte blue-green.
- 18 killstripes are on the left side of the helmet dome painted red-orange in color and do not touch the brow of the helmet. One black killstripe is toward the rear of the row.
- Helmet dome has two turn signal style triangles at the forehead of the helmet. The right turn signal is medium red and the left is navy blue.
- The back of the helmet features six keyslots in a rectangular recessed area. The bottom two keyslots have a small cylinder-like greeblie present in the middle of the keyslot painted silver.
- A borden connector greeblie is on the lower portion of the right cheek of the helmet and is silver in color.
- The front left side of the helmet dome prominently features the famous dent of appropriate size.
- Rangefinder stalk is silver in color while the helmet rangefinder topper is black in color and features two small parallel holes on the right side for two red led lights. The underside of the rangefinder must feature a clear perspex block, set into the topper with a square viewfinder greeblie painted black attached to the underside of the block.
- The paint chipping and weathering on the helmet must be painted to match visual references of the Book of Boba Fett helmet as closely as possible in weathering, damage, and overall wear.
BRL Level Approval
- Helmet model will be highly scrutinized for proportionality difference vs the previous Fett models available. This helmet is taller and narrower than its predecessors as well as perfectly symmetrical in the sculpt.
- The borden connector greeblie is made of metal.
- An indented line is present around the top of the rangefinder.
- Rangefinder stalk is made from metal and has the ability to rotate forward 90 degrees, activating the lights on the topper. Additionally, the stalk features a circular bump at the base of the stalk to activate the lights, while the inside profile tapers inward at the base of the stalk and out again at the top.
- Paint will be closely scrutinized for texture and placement consistent with that seen in reference images.
Flightsuit
- Flightsuit is made of black and/or linen blend fabric.
- Flightsuit is comprised of a separate long sleeved shirt and trousers.
- Flightsuit must feature grey topstitching.
- Shirt must feature a front closure visible under the end of the vest and start of the belts.
- Shirt must feature two short sleeves.
- Sleeves are longer than the shoulder armor and come down on the wearer about mid bicep.
- Bottom edge of each sleeve must feature three lines of horizontal stitching.
- Pants must feature a standard men’s crotch zipper and stitching.
- Pants must feature sewn-in ribbing at the knees: six ribs in total with top stitching around the whole element.
- Pants must feature a triangular-shaped pocket on the left hip.
- Triangular pocket must be rotated approximately 15 degrees from square.
- Pocket must appear 1 inch in depth and be filled/not hang slack.
- Pants feature top stitching running vertically from the front of the hip flexor down the front of the thigh, only interrupted by the knee ribbing, continuing down the front of the shin.
- Pants have a built in kama from woven cotton or silk that connects from the outside of the hips covering the rear of the pants at the waistband (kama is attached to the pants).
- Kama hangs to mid-calf height and is weathered at the bottom.
- Pants closure is hidden by the waist sash.
- Neck of the flightsuit features a rolled cowl that wraps loosely around the wearer’s neck.
- Flightsuit is fitted comfortably snug to the wearer.
- Shirt may feature a breathable mesh section across the ribcage and in the armpits, but must be hidden when the vest is worn.
- Shirt may feature three additional velcro straps to tighten the forearm sections under the gauntlets.
Gloves and Handplates
- Gloves are made of leather or leather-like material and are two-tone in appearance. A black outer glove is worn with the fingers cut off just past the knuckle. The fingers of the gloves themselves are dark brown in color.
- Main knuckle of each finger feature ribbing sewn into the glove.
- Skin is not visible between the flightsuit and wrist.
- A symmetrical armor plate with six sides, three inset sections, and a triangular raised detail is mounted to the back of the gloves.
- Handplates also feature a rectangular “vent” just behind the triangle detail.
- Outermost insets on the hand plate extend the full length of the plate (unlike the Din Djarin or Death Watch Variants).
BRL Level Approval
- Top glove is a Vance Leather VL471 zip off gauntlet or replica.
- Gloves are made of leather.
- Handplates are made of rubber.
Boots and Gaiters
- Black boots that are rubber at the sole and base.
- Toes of boots have lined toe covers above the visible tread of the front of the boot.
- Heel and toe of the boot also feature raised lines consistent with reference images.
- Reddish-brown leather or leather-like boot gaiter that is approximately knee height that covers the top of the foot around the sides to the back and straps underneath the center of the bottom of the boot.
- Boot gaiter features dark weathering in gradients across its surface.
- Boot gaiter features a hidden zipper on the inside of the calf, two leather strap closures on the top inside of the calf, and one leather strap closure at the bottom.
- Boot gaiter also feature a black trapezoidal insert on the top edge outside of the calf, a black elastic stirrup under the boot, and a piece of the paracord from the girth belt on the very top edge.
BRL Level Approval
- Boots are the UA Infil Ops GTX or Merrell ColdPack/Coldpack Ice+ Snow or replica.
- Toe covers are made from rubber.
- Boot gaiter is made of reddish-brown leather.
Flak Vest
- Flak vest is black in color and made from a cotton weave fabric.
- Flak vest has two capped sleeves. These must be quilted and feature horizontal ribs on the body of the sleeve.
- Capped sleeves sit at the junction of the short sleeve and the vest body, wrapping over the top of the short sleeve.
- Capped sleeve features six individual ribs with topstitching.
- Vest closes at the back.
- Vest features two straps sewn under the collar to mount the jetpack.
- Vest features two straps in the lumbar area to run through the bottom slots of the backplate.
- Vest can feature a gaffi stick mounting system of a half moon bolted to the bottom left of the vest.
- Vest ends just above the wearer’s naval.
BRL Level Approval
- Vest must line up with the bottom of the wearer’s ab plate.
Ammo Belt
- Ammo belt is medium brown in color and made of leather or leather-like material, weathered consistent with the reference images.
- Both ammo and girth belts must close at the back.
- The center of the ammo belt has a rectangular belt buckle weathered gold in color. The buckle features three indented circles in the lower right-hand corner. These circles are separated by three indented lines, bisecting the middle of the belt straight, then at an angle. The bottom line must be wider than the two higher up. Two raised dumbbell-shaped details are present in the top left corner of the buckle above the lines. There is also an indented border that goes around the entirety of the buckle.
- Ammo belt features several cartridge mounts around the body of the belt. In order of right to left: rear buckle, four small cartridge loops, rectangular loop for holster attachment, five small cartridge loops, one large cartridge loop, and a center belt buckle. Left side is two pouches, five small cartridge loops, and a buckle.
- Ammo belt is terminated by a parachute buckle covered by gold plates.
- Two medium-brown pouches are to the left of the belt buckle. The pouches feature curved flaps. Light colored stitching outlines the flaps on the pouches.
- Ammo belt is attached to the girth belt.
Girth Belt
- Girth belt is made of black, white, and brown diagonal-striped paracord attached to a leather under belt, making the belt approximately 6” / 15cm wide.
- Girth belt has two cord strands above the main belt and four cord strands below, with visible leather above and below the cords.
- Girth belt fits snugly around the wearer’s waist and closes at the back using velcro.
- Girth belt features eight rectangular studs on the ends of the girth belt near the closure buckles. Studs must feature detailing grooves: one groove for the top studs and two grooves for the bottom studs.
- Girth and ammo belt must feature an additional separated back panel with a wider section of belt and loops for four large cartridges.
- Additional back panel must attach with velcro to the girth and buckle to the ammo belt.
BRL Level Approval
- Belt and pouches are made of leather.
- Belt buckle and cartridges are made of metal.
Thigh Holster
- The holster is made of leather or leather-like material and is medium brown in color.
- The holster hangs from the right side of the ammo belt via a strap that is made of the same material as the holster.
- Holster is wet molded to the pistol.
- Holster features a small blaster retention strap with a brass/brass-colored snap.
- Holster features a thigh strap that hangs loosely around the thigh near the knee ribbing and closes with a standard hole buckle.
- Stitching is present along the back edge of the holster.
BRL Level Approval
- Thigh holster and straps are made of leather.
Chest Armor
- Consists of collar armor, right and left chest plates, ab plate, and center diamond.
- Must appear to be 3mm thick with squared, hard edges.
- Armor is a matte medium green. Armor has been repainted, but some edge wear and surface weathering is evident. Armor features a semi-rough texture consistent with reference images.
- Left chest plate features two cut-out horizontal bars with the upper bar being narrower than the bottom bar. They are backed by an illuminated, red, flashing display.
- Right chest plate features a re-painted “Jaster’s Crest” sigil in the upper right corner. The sigil can be painted to match references or be a pre-made decal. There are no dents present on the right chest plate.
- Ab plate features three indents on the lower left side: these are not holes like the OT version.
- Chest diamond features a raised border and a raised center rectangle detail painted grey.
- Collar armor must feature four grey keycap-style studs on the squared ends over the shoulder.
BRL Level Approval
- “Jaster’s Crest” in the upper right-hand corner of the right chest plate is painted and not a decal.
- Paint texture will be closely scrutinized for texture and placement consistent with that seen in reference images.
Back Armor
- Must appear to be at least 6mm thick with squared, hard edges.
- Jetpack mounting section features a more angular shaping than that of the Original Trilogy backplate.
- Back armor has been repainted a matte olive green with the jetpack mount area being slightly darker. Some edge wear and surface weathering is evident.
- Backplate features two slots above the shoulders for the jetpack straps and a rolled collar behind the neck.
- Jetpack mounting section features two aluminum, cylindrical mounting points attached just over the shoulder blades, a center black mounting point on the lumbar, and four vertical rectangular slots cut into the backplate.
- Lower vertical rectangular slots should have velcro fed through them to attach to the vest.
- Back armor features a trapezoidal cutout at the lumbar area.
Shoulder Armor
- Must appear to be at least 3mm thick with hard, squared edges. Armor features six points and covers the wearer’s deltoid muscle.
- Shoulder armor has been repainted a dulled yellow with exposed silver and grey, but some edge wear and surface weathering is evident with exposed silver and medium grey.
- Left shoulder features the ROTJ variant of the mythosaur sigil in a medium red backed by an off white background. The sigil can be painted to match references or be a pre-made decal.
- Shoulder armor also features a raised outer edge and an exposed silver “raiser” under the armor to ensure the angle and posture of the armor matches references.
- Top edge of the shoulder armor is mounted under the winglet of the vest.
BRL Level Approval
- Mythosaur sigil on the left shoulder is painted and not a decal.
- Raiser is mounted in the center of the shoulder bell and features ten indented vents.
- Paint texture will be closely scrutinized for texture and placement consistent with that seen in reference images.
Left Gauntlet
- Gauntlet construction is clamshell style without any visible means of closure.
- Gauntlet body has been repainted dark burgundy and features some edge and surface wear consistent with references.
- A black MQ-1 keypad with exposed silver on the lower left two buttons sits in the forwardmost recessed section of the gauntlet.Immediately above the keypad is a silver greeblie resembling the Glenross dental expander.
- On top of the gauntlet is a uniquely designed rocket where the tip, body, and tail are silver, the body recesses are black, and the nose cone is copper.
- Gauntlet rocket tail differs from OT version with the tail featuring rectangular inserts positioned circumferentially around the fore segment.
- The outward-facing side of the gauntlet features a weapon housing, formerly the ROTJ style flamethrower. The housing is rectangular in shape, stretching only the length of the gauntlet, with an angled front. Two muzzles protrude from the front of the housing with the top muzzle slightly more forward than the bottom. Just above the muzzles are three notch cutouts on the top surface of the housing and two notch cutouts on the outside surface of the housing.
- Two push-button style switches are on the top of the weapon housing with silver metallic circular switches on top in an angled detail riser.
- A small, round black cylinder is on the inner rear corner of the gauntlet, next to the rocket. Additionally, a small black cube is positioned on the inner mid-body of the gauntlet inline with the rocket body.
- Upper shell of the gauntlet features a battery cover greeblie on the inward-facing surface under the rocket.
- Lower shell of the gauntlet features three indented sections on the inner portion.
BRL Level Approval
- Push-button style switches on the top of the weapon housing are made from metal.
- Gauntlet rocket is made from metal.
- Muzzles coming out of the front of the weapon housing are made of metal.
Right Gauntlet
- Gauntlet construction is clamshell style without any visible means of closure.
- Gauntlet body has been repainted dark burgundy and features edge and surface wear consistent with the references.
- Front of the gauntlet features four silver darts facing outwards in a black mount section with the area under the darts also painted black.
- A small rectangular indent is present at the forefront of the right gauntlet, just above the wrist opening and is painted black.
- A second small trapezoidal indent is present on the upper tier of the gauntlet above the darts featuring a dark grey ovular greeblie on the left and a grey trapezoid greeblie on the right.
- Gauntlet features a larger integrated flamethrower housing with a cylindrical internal silver exposed greebly running parallel to the housing.
- Gauntlet features a top trapezoidal scoop ahead of the tapered block and two inset slots on the outside of the middle tier.
- Gauntlet features three hoses covered in black fabric. One is attached directly to the rear of the gauntlet via a tapered block with no apparent connection hardware. The other two connect to the back of the flamethrower unit. The hoses reach up and terminate under the rear of the shoulder armor, into the vest of the wearer.
- Black hoses should be sleeved in braided nylon and match the design of a Plumb Works kitchen sink sprayer hose.
- Hoses should have shrinkwrapped connectors followed by silver and bronze hardware.
- Upper gauntlet hose connector features a weathered blue connector between hose hardware and red gauntlet attachment.
- Lower shell of the gauntlet has four rectangular indentations on the inside forearm of the gauntlet just below the upper and lower seam of the gauntlet.
BRL Level Approval
- Darts are made of metal.
- At the top of the gauntlet, just before the hose attachment, is a raised rectangle painted black.
Knee Armor
- Two modern style knee plates are present and worn around the top of the shin just below the knee, leaving all ribbing on the pants visible.
- The knee plates have been repainted a golden yellow and feature edge and surface wear consistent with the references. Both knees appear dent free.
- The outer section of each knee plate has two greeblies painted silver with the left knee featuring two identical cylindrical dart launchers and the right knee having a tapered cone greeblie above a single cylindrical dart launcher. The flat face where the greeblies are mounted is grey in color.
- Knees have an additional black insert behind the main plate that bridges the main part to the wings.
- Knees feature a top dark metallic detail above the knee plate curving with the body of the knee plate.
- Inside wing of the knee features three notches pointing away from the back of the knee.
BRL Level Approval
- Knee darts are made of metal.
Blaster Pistol
- The base of the blaster pistol is a Sedgley Mark IV Flare gun or acceptable replica. The extended barrel, upper barrel, and optics are added to the base flare pistol.
- The extended lower barrel tapers slightly back into the base flare pistol. The second, higher barrel runs parallel to the lower barrel and ends in a sharp angle, just beyond the breech of the flare pistol.
- Two brackets connect the two barrels, one at the front, slightly pulled back from the muzzle, and another at the breech of the flare pistol.
- At the top of the breech bracket, a small scope can be seen ending in a sharp angle right at the bracket. While the front of the scope does not extend past the middle bracket, the rear stops just before the breech of the pistol.
- Middle of the scope features a ring greeblie, while the end closest to the user has a slight taper forward.
- Grip of the pistol is the same of that as the Sedgley flare pistol, but the front portion ends in a hard angle instead of a rounded edge, ending just in front of the middle bracket.
- Trigger is the same as the Sedgley with added grooves to the press.
- Grip inlays are wood in appearance with a circular greeblie inset inside another circular greeblie towards the bottom.
- A ring and swivel are present in the indented section of the grip at the very bottom.
- Pistol is two-toned in color with the rear section being black and the front being a weathered bronze. Flecks of weathered steel are also present, particularly at the base of the lower barrel, in front of the breech.
EE-3 Blaster Carbine
- Must be a Webley No. 1 MK 1 shoulder stocked flare gun or replica constructed to match references.
- Body of the blaster is black and features a weathered brass grip.
- Featured above the grip and trigger are a crankshaft and piston half, or replica, from the Revell visible V-8 engine model kit.
- Barrel and forward cone of the blaster are gunmetal with grooves in a similar style to the ROTJ EE-3.
- Stock is walnut in color with appropriate inset greeblies painted gunmetal.
- At the top of the blaster is a Lyman All American 4x rifle scope, or replica, attached with two detachable scope rings painted black.
*Optional Accessories*
Jetpack
- Jetpack follows the traditional Boba Fett jetpack design of the Mitrinomon Z-6 jetpack with a raised center tank and two fuel tanks on either side of the center tank.
- Jetpack features a center missile with appropriate collar and base.
- Two directional thrusters are present on either side of the jetpack. The main body of the thruster is medium green with a dark red ring around the bottom of the cone and a silver ring around the top before the ball connection. Greeblies, metallic silver in color, are connected to the outside of the sphere of the thruster, while a metallic silver circular greeblie is inset into the face of the sphere with a red cross inside of it.
- Center ridge of the jetpack is shock blue in color with two dark red vertical tapering insets.
- Outer hexagonal sections of the body and the middle ridges of the main body are shock blue. Tall vertical inset sections of the hexagon element are medium green. Just below the inset sections are horizontal notches painted a golden yellow.
- A jetpack beacon and stabilizer are present on the flat section above the center tank. The beacon is on the left of the missile, while the stabilizer is on the right. Both are metallic silver and the jetpack beacon features a brass top. Stabilizer features four holes drilled in a cross pattern around the bottom of the center cylinder.
- Piano keys are present on either side of the center tank, stretching horizontally out to either side and are painted dark red in color.
- The top and bottom of each tank features a dark grey collar before the nose cones. The top extrusion of the nose cones are golden metallic.
- The bottom of the jetpack has a circular exhaust vent in the middle of the pack. Exhaust vent also features two rectangular circumferential cut outs with the left one being painted dark red. A center greeblie is placed on the inside of the back, the female half of an XLR connector for the “mounting point”.
- Jetpack features an entirely new bottom and inside design with a symmetrical scooped section at the bottom and two silver hook recesses at the shoulder blade height. There is a six-sided cutout in the middle of the inside that is left open.
- Jetpack must sit securely to the wearer and must not sag or otherwise appear loose on the wearer.
- Jetpack colors follow the ROTJ Hero scheme in spirit, but are an entirely different paint job.
- Main body of the jetpack is a medium green and shock blue with metallic silver for the weathered sections.
- Missile of the jetpack is a medium green with the band below the nose cone painted dark grey. Jetpack collar is steel in color, and the toothed section is dark grey with the ring above painted golden metallic. Fins and top cone of the rocket are also golden.
- Jetpack features a repair patch stretching across the top risers of the main body from left bottom to top right that has rivet detailing in each corner. Patch does not interrupt the center ridge.
- Jetpack features an ESB-style decal on the bottom of the topmost left body riser.
BRL Level Approval
- Missile of the jetpack features a blunt tip, unlike the sharper missiles seen in the OT.
- Missile collar, outermost circular greeblies on the thrusters, winged exhaust vent and interior thruster circular greeblies are made of metal.
- Jetpack repair patch features attachment rivets.
- Jetpack beacon and stabilizer are metal.
- Jetpack beacon top glows orange/red from a small light inside.
