Title: Fettinator Industries Electronic kits
Post by: jc27 on Sep 26, 2017, 11:13 AM
I am a newbie here, but have been doing mando electronics for about 4 years now. I started off doing a rangefinder light kit for Boba Fett, then I added a servo kit and a jetpack beacon kit. I have a couple of other things I would like to make like a blaster kit and maybe a sound clip board.
Here are some youtube videos of my kits:
This is my newest version of the servo kit. It uses a metal gear servo, and has 2 transmitters (one is set up for the gauntlet). The board also supplies control power to a rangefinder kit (the one in this video I designed and uses movie accurate grain of rice incandescent light bulbs for the perspex piece of the RF).

Here is a video of my jetpack beacon kit. It has 3 modes: on, blink, and fade. I also include a 3d printed LED diffuser to make the LED look more light an incandescent bulb.

Here is another video of one of my rangefinder light kits. It is self contained so it does not require a hollow stalk to run wires through it. This video is about 4 years old and I have since changed the tilt switch to a small mercury switch and I have also made the board a little smaller and switched to a new battery holder that is a tiny bit smaller than the one in this video. The kit used a 3v 2025 coin cell battery.

I added an new video to my channel, it is a wireless sound clip system that runs off of the same battery pack that powers my chest display, and everything is fitted behind my chest/ab armor.
