Hello everyone ! I have been inactive here for quite a while (since last year when I made my first post introducing myself) and now 2020 I finally started building my armor as I received my kit this week, I wanted to share my work here because I need opinions as I am afraid of doing everything wrong aha.
I have been studying how to paint and weather the armor with the tutorials provided on the forum (very helpful indeed, and I gained a lot of knowledge even if I am doing everything wrong ! Anyway, without further a do, here are some pics of the chest plates before and after I painted them (I used the toothpaste masking technique, but I think I overdid on the weathering but I really like how it turned out, still needs blaster shot marks and "scratches" aswell as blackwashing and grime though aha).

How do the plates fit you? :)
Still have not tried them on with a vest (working on that, I have a vest made of cloth, but I will make a new one, because I did not like the outcome) but they fit my body perfectly, I did not trim them as they were my fit. :D Am I doing well for now ? Or should I dial back on the weathering I currently have ?

G'day mate, sent you a pm

The amount of weathering you have is entirely up to you, just be sure that weathering is consistent throughout your entire kit (armor piece to armor price, soft goods, etc).
