It has been a long time since I have been here thinking about my build. Life got a bit in the way. But today (fingers crossed) in going to order a helmet. That and possibly the lower arm pieces I don't feel confident about making.... Yet.
More importantly for this thread I had a thought about the kama. I wondered if building it in leather scales would work! Wookieepedia says they were made from leather so I would think it would be ok other than the style, what do you think?

Very excited to pick this up again.

A similar style was used in AotC for Zam Wesell's skirt/kama, so a leather scale or lamellar style will be approvable.

Think I've just made my build a bit more complex!
Thank you for your answer.
