Ok my fellow Vods!! It has come time to start kit number 3!! Well lets call is 2.5 because half the stuff I am using is from kit 2 I just want to play ability to swap between Modern and Post Imperial. From now on I will be referring to Post Imperial as PI just to make it easy. Alright I printed one Chest piece but from feedback in the Facebook page it is small so I made a template out of Sitra so I need feedback on that before I start printing.
So All the hard parts minus the cod and chest plates will all be the same I may print a set of PI shoulder bells just to have a distinction between my two kits. Plus kit 2 has a brigade sigil on it so I may just do that. All soft parts will be the same the reason behind that is to jump right back into dual brigade with kit 3. Weapons will all stay the same. So I say minus COD because well PI doesn't need one! But I will be adding the thigh plates to fall into the CRLs. Ok so first photo will be of my Modern kit and the others will be of the plate I printed, and the sitra template I made. If you have followed my last builds understand they go very fast! I don't wait around to do stuff. So almost every day I will have an update!!.

Alright Vods!
I got the bottom of the chest plate printed, and a new shoulder printed up and it is currently in the spot putty drying stage. I'm waiting on my wife's last lamp shade to finish printing to print my chest plate. It will be 12 inches at the widest point. So the same size as my Sitra template. I should have paint on the shoulder tomorrow, and be able to start printing the chest tomorrow night. The after that is done it is on to printing thigh armor, and that should bring me to a done state for printing. It is just clean up and paint at that point. So I should have this build wrapped up in the next month if everything goes smooth!

Yes I will using stuff from my other kit but it is because I will be able to switch between PI and Modern when I like!
Alright onto today's progress! I got the Shoulder sanded, primed, and working on paint in a little will most likely have that done too! I will update this post later if I get that far today! I also got the ab plate done and primed just waiting on the chest plate now to paint! I have my left thigh plate on the printer now, just waiting the 16 hours for it to be complete. I will be able to get the chest and right thigh on the printer late tonight to hopefully be finished up by mid day on Thursday. Like I said before it is moving at a good pace, and should be ready for app photos before the end of the month!

UPDATE!! So I did finish up my shoulder plate! My wife's last light shade is off the printer and the new chest piece will be done in 39 hours!!! So I have that to look forward too. The thigh plate will be done in a few hours, but I may not end up needing it because, if I don't use a cod plate I will need hip plates for Brigade. I will be working on hip plate holster tomorrow I guess!

Past two days have been on the slow side. I threw my back out so I have been dealing with that. I did get the chest plate bondo done and primed up. I just need to sand the chest diamond and put it in its permanent home. Should be able to get the chest painted up tomorrow, and start figuring out magnet placement for the plate to match up with the modern plates. Until tomorrow!

Well today went faster than expected! My back is still jacked up, but managed to get a lot done. I finished up the chest plate, and was able to slowly get myself in kit and snap photos! Will be submitting to the app team!
