Title: Possible belt source...
Post by: Cor Nightwind on Mar 01, 2010, 09:12 PM
...among a few other things.
Mentioned to a friend of mine that I was looking for a belt, and he pointed me to this site. Was wondering if you think these would work.

I've found a source for one, cheaper. MUCH cheaper..

http://airgunstyle.com/heavy-duty-elite-enforcement-pistol-belt-with-dual-pouches-black-p-21801.html?osCsid=88a92bbfe991bf9d55cf789062aa92f8

Comes with two small pouches, and goes from in the 20" range to 49" or so... So very useful. And only $9.50!

I would say it could work, just wear the belt backwards so the buckle is at the small of your back, not on the front.  Star Wars never really uses modern plastic buckles in plain view with very rare exceptions. ;)

Sportsmansguide is another website source for affordable military surplus belts and pouches.  http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/browse/military-surplus-belts-suspenders.aspx?c=2&s=332 (http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/browse/military-surplus-belts-suspenders.aspx?c=2&s=332)

The old leather belts are a bit more of the Star Wars universe feel.  Hope this helps!
