Gotcha! That is not stated in the rules as to being that specific way. It only says 8. Please refrain from making double posts. Use the 'modify' button to fix or update a post if you were the last person to add to a discussion.

I'm weathering the helmet topically just like the real Boba Fett helmet was done in Empire and ROTJ , which means the weathering layers were applied and painted on top of each other, not masked and painted from the bottom up to the top, topically is done from the top up to the bottom.  After the weathering is done it sprayed a matt or flat clear to blend everything together, and make it all "POP" together.

My helmet is done on the outside.
I got to put a couple more coats of clear on it, but it is done.
 I detailed it with a few things, the new RF stock is made from cut down 1/8" aluminum flat stock. I have to do some work on the inside and I make a chin cup for it.

I am re-doing a couple of Target Helmets right now. I suppose I should do a thread on them.  It's nice to see these things turning out so nice.

I repainted my bucket after seeing my helmet with the white suit and soon to be white armor.
There is too much color going on with the bucket and white theme of the suit, it will not look right for how I vision it, so it needed to be changed.




The grey will go much better with the white theme.

Yeah, I did too, but it will stick out like a sore thumb if I left it like that and it will bug me until I repaint, so may as well get it done now!
