That's not the best picture/s .... but from what I can see that's not Enough T in you T-visor ..

* Custom visor designs are allowed, however at least 1/3 of the vertical T portion must be apparent. The Executioner helmet is an example where 1/3 of the vertical T portion is visible in the ‘nose’ and ‘teeth’ sections of the visor design.

Size is fairly good. ConDar is right on the vert part. But if you're doing alternative stuff that's spiffy too!

I checked it out, I like the concept and I'd say do the opening in the nose area down like you drew into the thing and maybe make some additional open areas between the teeth(things) so that more of the visor shows through. I really like that it looks like a mythosaur face on the bucket.

Helmet is almost ready for colour.

did a paint brand mixing test. the lowes had great valspar colors with a couple at discount, $0.05 for the green $0.50 for the ivory off white.
order of application.

Looks great! Add some scuffs & scratches and a bit of blackwash and you'll be all set :D

Will you be able to find those colors again later, if they were on clearance?

thanks guys. this was just a test. did a grime test last night that didnt work out so well. th 2 brand has no adverse affects so i think i'll get some more colours tomorrow. probably a different green and a blue and maybe a red. also looking for masking alternatives. this masking was done with ketchup and grits! i may try the toothpaste method tonight. been using Kavryn's kit for wear reference.

Grits?! That's a new one

Yeah, the blackwash can take a bit of getting used to. You may want to start with browns or tans - they re better for simulating dirt, whereas black can look like oil or suchlike.

yeah grits. in the past i used rubber cement for masking with some sand mixed in. i have some course salt too that i may try. what do you think about using brown/black shoe polish for grime?

I imagine it would work just fine. You can always test on a piece of scrap before you take it to your actual paint job, too.
