Voice Changing Headset
« on: Jan 14, 2016, 05:00 PM »
Ok Im in the market for a voice amplifer/ microphone that changes my voice. Im not looking for the $3 Halloween toy that sounds scratchy and cuts in and out. I looking for something dependable. I cannot fit a whole bunch of electronic in my helmet.

What does everyone use?

Haven't tested it, but I bought a Velleman Voice Changer kit that I was going to mess around with. I go from a throat mic under my neck seal, to a belt mounted aker voice amp. I was just going to have this sit right next to the amp in an ammo pouch and so it would go throat mic -> voice changer -> aker voice amp

This thread might be helpful.

I am going to go this route. I've been playing around with robovox for andriod for 20 minutes now lol

I like it. I might have to check out the throat mic. I am not a big fan of my bucket chilling out on top of the plastic head band on top of my head.

I'm working on my voice changer using the materials outlined in the link I posted above. It's a little too deep and robot-ish for ESB Fett. I downloaded the Boba voice file someone else had made, but I'm going to play with it a bit more. Definitely a great, cheap investment for a really great costume effect!

Thanks for the link, I had an old iPod laying around and this works really good. It seems that the author of the topic is inactive, refering to the answers. I would be really grateful if someone could send me the configuration for voice synth.

Thanks a lot, I'll try this when I get home.

Edit:
This works really good! My only problem now is that my throat mic isn't working with the Y-cable, it works however when it's directly connected to the iPod. Has anybody a solution for this problem? All my other earphones and mics are working.
