Got quite a bit done today. Armor is fully weathered. Backplate has been reformed and outlined on my vest. And my son has started the accent colors on my Westars. Oh and pouches are weathered as well. Good times!!! We're on final countdown.

YUSS!!! That sounds like an awesome plan - I'm free every night this week.  I've already hit up Kyramla to take pics, and have been talking to Malakier about some additional weathering of the kit. But it would be awesome to have you and Mirdala over as extra hands.   (this is why I love my clan and this club)

I need to grind some grime into my softs tonight, get the velcro on my backplate. Gonna knock out some spats and prob some quick boot armor for my toesies, and I should be good to go. With the ad'ika finishing my accent colors on my Westars (which I need to weather a bit)... I'm super excited to see some 100% DONE's on my project tracker. OH, and I want to add some lyrics to one of my favorite songs on my backplate... then cover with another wash. But that's minor stuff - just to give it a bit more artistry and uniqueness.

1. Velcro attached to backplate; just need additional Velcro sewn onto my vest
2. Boot armor cut and shaped.
3. One Westar is ready for blackwash.

1. Foam in bucket, add comm sys and fans

4. Paint / weather boot armor
5. Make gaters
6. Finish 2nd Westar

Alright another mini update:

Still to do:
1. Foam in bucket, add comm sys and fans
2. Velcro on vest - Thought I was done with this last night, but remembered this morning, I need to add Velcro to the fangs of my chest pieces. Minor fix which I can do tonight.
3. Weather soft parts - Will start on this tonight. I considered leaving it all outside with the dogs... but thought better of it.
4. Paint / weather boot armor - primered and metallic done. Tonight, mask and first coat of the primary color. I'm keeping with the yellow for the small armor pieces.
5. Make gaters  Decided to go with wraps instead.
6. Finish 2nd Westar - This just needs a little bit of paint, on the accent colors. And R&B on the nozzle. Then blackwash both.

You're making good progress. Just remember things like helmet electronics can be added after you're OM. Its good to keep it in mind but they aren't necessary to get you approved. I know you know this but a friendly reminder can't hurt.

Okay - last night's progress:

Finished the accent colors on my second westar. Those just need a good blackwash now.
Finished primary painting on my boot armor. Blackwash time.

To do list:
Blackwash: Weapons, boot armor
Weather: Flight Suit, Vest, Gloves, Sash/Kama
Make Boot Wraps

Another micro update. And I'm too tired to move it up to post #3, so it'll be here for now.

Just finished my gaiters for my boots. Pretty happy with them. But like most of our stuff, there's room for upgrades.
