Flight suit question
« on: Feb 25, 2016, 09:36 PM »
I understand that the flightsuit has to have not only a tailored look, but also has to look fitted and secure for space travel, etc...

One thing I am wondering...I am planning a privateer/pirate style mandalorian, as per the BRL that I and a couple others have proposed, and I was wondering if it would be possible to use ribbed material for the pants and top, along the same lines as Hondo Onaka and others like them...skiff guards, etc...that have ribbed materials for their undergarments. The top and bottom would both match, but I guess my question is...has anyone tried this before, how did it turn out and is it approvable via regular CRLs? I'm wanting to go a little more in depth into the look and not just have a simple flight suit, but try and make the suit look like it belongs in the SW universe more than ours...thoughts?

I was looking at ribbed knit leggings and tops, but dont know if that material would be frowned upon...
