Dha pretty much nailed it. Mandalorians and Jedi just don't get along, and as an almost universal rule Mandalorians reject using lightsabers. Bardan was an adopted Mando into Kal Skirata's clan, Venku was the son of a clone and a Jedi and rarely used his abilities, going so far as to hide his Force sensitivity from everyone, and Mira was a slave brought in to the Mandalorian culture and it's been debated if she's even truly a Mandalorian. The Mandalorian Knights Dha brought up were pretty much shunned by both Jedi and Mando alike, and were a pretty resounding failure.
As far as the club goes, we represent the Mandalorians as presented in the movies, books, and comics. There's just no solid representation of Mandalorians using lightsabers as a regular weapon, so we don't approve them for use as an Official Member of the MMCC. You're more than welcome to make up your own custom character and use our guidelines for a non-approved lightsaber wielding Mando though if that's what you're interested in!
