Any way, we were talking about barrel endcaps/barrel caps right? So my thoughts are really super simple that might be a touch fiddly to pull off. Basically i'm thinking you'll need to either insert something inside the barrel to emulate a focusing thingo/projector whatsit/pew pew pointer piece, like a smaller barrel inset a few inches back in the new barrel, for me that seems like the better option as it will also give you a negative space behind the 'insert' that you could use to reinforce your pistol base and barrel?

... OR cover the end all together but this has the disadvantage of potentially just looking like a cap.

Smirk, it's all good. A double barrel for the Volcanic seems to be the best way to go about it. Like you said, it would add extra strength as well and also a better look, depending on how it's done. Would be interested to see how it will look with a smaller barrel protruding out of the larger one but we shall see.

I have progress on the Volcanic Repeater. Check it out. Not entirely sure how I would want to paint this though: perhaps paint the 3 smaller pieces (the smaller end barrel and the 2 under barrel pieces) silver and the rest black. I have a dowel rod I will be painting silver or bronze and slotting in the gap in the lower portion. Thoughts?

Gotta fill those screw holes, vod.  Otherwise, not bad.  Could use a scope, though, and maybe a few more greebs.

Yeah, pesky screw holes... ha I actually added an off center railing along with a flashlight to mimic a scope plus a minor greeb but haven't figured out what else to add. I don't have a picture of it currently but I plan on taking one relatively soon and posting it up.

I also realized that I forgot that I was planning on attempting to somewhat mimic Fett's sidearm from 1313 with this Volcanic... so woops ha

So I did not like the look I had with the Volcanic based blaster I was making and decided to change it up a bit. This is what I have now and it actually fits the leather holster I had made for the EE-3 handcannon. Pretty pumped about it
