I am only in the pre-planning stages as of right now, but I will do my best to show new pictures as often as I can.

To start: here is the color scheme I am going to be working with.

It was brought to my attention that the colors are very fluid and can almost be described as an oil slick.
You really can't see from the pic, but I will be adding in some highlights of gold and maybe add some to the cape as well.

I am also looking at some ideas for my weapon: The DC 15m

I am really looking into using a Nerf Deploy CS-6 as the base and using other random pieces for creating the additional attachments. I do have experience modifing nerf guns already, so this should not be hard. It will keep the weapon lightweight as well.

I'm not seeing any image of your color.

I've seen some good nerf mods. They took a lot of work and modding, but in the end they turned out great.

I'd like to see the oil slick paint.  Watching with interest.

Like the color scheme. I strongly discourage nerf mods though. Yes, good results can be obtained. You can get as good or better results with less work by making something from scratch.

Cool looking paint scheme, I like the teal accents.

I see that nerf mod being a lot of work to get it to look like the DC-17m and not like a nerf gun. It would be an easier scratch build or save your self the trouble and get a kit for that blaster. I picked up a DC-17m from Polymer Armory and couldn't be happier with it. If that's the weapon system you'd like I'd reccomend getting the PA one, it's all resin cast and uses magnets for the blaster attachment and magazines. Woodchuck also makes a DC-17m, and I hear those are great quality as well.

Good luck! :D

I've seen and handled a woodchuck. Top notch quality, but heavy.
