Scratch build DL-44 question
« on: Apr 28, 2016, 11:11 PM »
Bonjour!

I'm looking to scratch build a  Mauser  C96  replica  prop in MDF  and metal to make  a  DL-44 for my  Mando kit. With the  specs  and the  pictures  I've  found, I can figure out most  of the dimensions except  the  "tickness" of the gun itself. Anybody know the tickness of the different  parts of the gun?

Thanks,

Dan AKA Jonas Palpatine

Well, I have a Denix Mauser mid-conversion in front of me.  What measurements do you need?

you know one of the guys on the RPF made a conversion kit to turn one of the replica or airsoft mouser C96 into an accurate DL-44 I would look there

The true measure of some one's character can only be taken during times of great strife and danger. For its easy to be a hero when all is well with the galaxy. But when it is time to charge into no man's land and face the evils of the galaxy that is when true character shines and those of weak moral fiber can be seen for what they are.
