Finally got started on my gauntlets!
Since I'm going with a shark theme for my paintjob, I've decided to call my gauntlet weapons systems "The Shark's Bite." The two gauntlets will be the "jaws" and the actual weapons will be the "teeth"
Gauntlets cut out of aluminum
Upper and Lower plates hammered into shape, the extra metal on the edges folded back to make a smooth, thick edge
My gauntlet weapons: 2 PVC conduit boxes with some PVC piping from a previous project that never got off the ground
Spurs dremelled off the boxes and the twin-blaster barrels cut down to size

The Blaster gauntlet put together.
Going to use leather and buckles to hold The Jaws together. Have the leather, just need the buckles.
The flamethrower
Used 1/8" black leather for the hinges
Careful: this shark's bite burns
All I need to do now is affix the buckles, pull the fuel lines off the old gas grill and stick 'em on the flamethrower, add the greeblies, glue the PVC together, and then bondo any gaps or blemeshes I don't like.
