Weathering. Is. DONEEEE!!! So happy!! Also redid the visor with the help of my father, it looks muchhh better!

Super happy with how it turned out! I started out with using black to try and tye the colors in, then did a little rust which didn't turnout how I thought it would but i still like it, then I did two coats of brown wash  and then like 4 coats of black wash, some dry brushing (never use foam brushes for this btw) and 2 coats of matt clear coat. Thanks y'all for all the encouragement, if you've got any other suggestions lemme know, otherwise. I'm glad to have this finished and really focus on the ROTJ helmet and my armor.:-)

Thanks! That affect is also on the right just not as visible, best part is that it's all accident and I was super upset. I used a terrible black paint and was just bad overall, so I painted over it, then as I was drying off the black wash it started peeling like that. Turned into a pretty cool affect though.

In my opinion the best stuff is from an accident, completely random and natural looking. A unique bit of weathering...... now could you replicate that if you wanted?

Thanks! Shrapnel wasn't my original idea, I just wanted something beat to heck, but I like the shrapnel idea for sure!
