Need PIP for 3.5mm microphone
« on: May 27, 2016, 04:52 PM »
Anyone know of a way I can supply my microphone with power? My voice amp does not supply power through the 3.5mm jack, so I need something to power my mic in order for it to work.

I have a week from today to get it going. Any ideas??

not sure if replying to this now helps at all... but there are "inline" / "phantom power" options to drive mics that need power. Ton of options on Amazon and eBay from a few bucks up to unreasonable cost. I looked into it in the attempt to have to lapel mics feed into a signal amplifier and then to headphones.

Ended up being slightly cheaper to grab a sound amplification board from a local electronics chain (Fry's) and go that route.
