Ok, I have checked Fierfek out and looked at his patterns. For both the Super Commando Grunt and Captains he has made symetrical shin plates. As this will be a canon application you will need to find and provide evidance that they are asymetrical for them to be approved. I have checked my reference images from when I built mine too.

I do not think that just grinding the collar will be enough. The chest plates are really wide.
This is one of the clearer images available of the captain, there are not too many. His spacing is practically identical to the grunts.

As you can see the width of the chest and collar plates go to within 2cm of the vest seam.

This is the clearest/largest photos I can get to show it on mine. My spacing is slightly out as what this photo does not show is I am holding my helmet under my left arm.

So with that in mind I think you are looking at more like this. That is presuming that your chest plates are wide enough to perfectly fill your vest too.

For your belts you will need to find a way of disguising the smaller belt the plates are mounted on. The visual reference is only two layers, the large Girth belt with the ammo boxes on top. You will also need to find a way to heat and curve each of the plates so they form to your body. We will still need to see a picture once they are mounted to ensure the squares are all in the correct places.

Whilst that Jetpack is close there are some differences.
So the top edge of the Jetpack is not one line. It is made from 4 lines.
It is sort of possible to make out here:

You can also see it in this side angle here where the Jetpack top almost looks like a triangle

Here is my Jetpack showing it too

Your main Jetpack rocket may be close enough to be accepted, I am unsure. The reference material has it as more like the side toppers where the body tapers in and then its a really defined cone on top.

The central bottom exhaust is also a different design to the one with that Jetpack

Overall I would encourage you to compare your jetpack against the reference material for accuracy.
