Working Gauntlet Switches
« on: Aug 10, 2016, 05:41 AM »
I've seen a few setups for making gauntlet buttons/switches work to move the range finder move. Most are $100 +

I thought I would have a go at taking this concept a stage further. I've stripped a 6 channel model controller down to its base elements and changed all the channel switches to I/O switches rather than variable (sticks and dials).

I'm going to put a receiver in the helmet and one in a coms pack (to make lights work etc... )

Total cost less than £60/$80 with battery and servo. Extra receiver is only £8/$10 for this set too.

1 power switch, 6 servo switches and 2 none functional switches

Further to controlling LEDs or anything else 6v that is none standard RC servo, I intend on taking a few servos to bits and following this tutorial
