Starting my first suit.  This is for my 13yr old daughter who is very interested in an authentic Sabine Season III so here we go.

Like others we going for the following look:


Ordered the following soft parts on Amazon and will modify, cut and stitch until we beat them into submission.

Leotard for the top:


Dark portion of the pants:


Light inner portion of the pants:

Custom-Made Sabine belts:


The armor?  That part's easy.

Just a tip on the display you picked out - I got the same one and it's older so current computers are too smart  . You need to have either Mac OSX 10.4 or earlier or Windows XP or earlier. Luckily my husband still had his old laptop that is running XP, so we were able to load some pictures onto it.

Thanks Antoa.  I run XP on my iMac using VMWare fusion.  I appreciate the update!

Got some goodies in.  Time to start alterations on the trousers and collar.  Gotta find the right "comfy" fabric for the grey highlights on the leotard. 


Custom paint on the Jetpack will be a fun project!

Getting a little closer.  Custom leatherwork turned out right and smells sooooo good.  Next up tearing up the leotard and pants and sewing in fabric for the lighter color.  Gotta split the collar as well.   Season 3 armor is almost done.  Cant wait to see how the jetpack mold comes out.

Thanks.  I found a leather worker here in Florida that made them to my daughter's measurements and the smaller Westar blasters.  She's so slim it's very hard to find anything that fits her without looking bulky.  We're super pleased with the work.  Here's a shot of the back.

Working on the jetpack pattern now.
Trying to get an animated character to work in real life is tricky.
This jetpack is, structurally, a work of art.  Multiple bevels and curves.
Getting the pattern right will be a fun challenge.  Thanks TMA for the R&D - PVC foam board!!
