Do you have a WIP on the sword?
If not, could you tell me what the blade is made from and how you attached/held it to the back plate?

That blade though!
Do you have a WIP on the sword?
If not, could you tell me what the blade is made from and how you attached/held it to the back plate?

Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures while making the bes'kad. The blade is cut from a 1/4" poplar wood board. Not the toughest wood in the world, but it's been holding up so far. I attach it to the back plate using a couple of rare earth magnets. Pulls right off with sufficient force.
