So following the tutorial on here, I did a thing today just needs the clips sowed on and dyed or painted emerald green




Update 03/01/18
many many many updates from this last weekend/couple of days
first couple of pics are of my ancestral Mythosaurs bone handle knife, it still needs a pommel and its done

this pic is of my girthbelt painted hunter green to not my Corellian heritage on my mothers side

this is the start of my Rebel officer rank bar trophy no I didn't hunt down a rebel officer I was one

this pic is the start of my robot hand thumb and index finger cut out, trimmed, and shaped. The back of the hand plate is cut, trimmed, shaped, and primed. The shield on top is my hand plate that's 100% done ready to be secured to the glove.

this pic is my datapad gauntlet that is 95 % done just need to clean off the tooth paste from my weathering

A little after work working. The robot arm is coming to life muahahahaha. Made the tips from pvc caps cut in half and the fingers plates are also pvc pipes.



And the weathering is done on the datapad gauntlet




Update 03/05/18
First set of updates are from Saturday and Sunday, Second set are from today.
Due to complications I don't want to go into. I was unable to get much done yesterday and today bit I did get some done. Mainly reapplying some silver and starting to weather and put down my primary color. Plus look at those two cute armor helpers.




Ahhhhh I'm running out of things to do till my bucket gets here and or I buy my flights suit and vest...side note a little more progress before work




Update 03/12/18
I was a busy little mando this weekend,
First my Bucket from Tom Vader Arrived friday and I love it fits great and just needs a little work and I will be good to go


second I Stripped the old paint off and reprinted with a new silver

mixed up some bondo and filled in the holes for my pips.

Started glueing down the down the finger plates for my robot hand.

Put the detail stickers on the shoulder bell and belt buckle.


Filled in the dent on my helmet

coated the plates with the final metallic blue

last pictures is i glued the ear cap togther and glued on the ear cap. I wont be using the range finder that came with my helmet cause of Pilot reasons


Also not pictured pips coated in the same blue and now glue to the square and bondo sanded down and ready for the second layer. as well as tooth paste ready to be washed off for weathering. will post more pics after i get it cleaned up later this week or next weekend.
Update 03/22/18
forgot to update, this last week as been busy busy, plus been down for surgery so hoping to get back to it soon.
got the ear cap fully glued on, now i just need to set the radio antenna and bondo the opening closed

my Wing Commander or Commander of the Air Guard rebel alliance rank badge is done and ready to mount once i get my flight suit

dent fully filled in (not pictured fully sanded)

key holes cut out and sanded down

and cheek bone back plates sanded down so i can get the bucket on easier with my glasses

also my fiberglass cardboard holsters fell apart once i put my westars in them so back to the drawing board on that. also got my pilots brow in and working on sanding off the stickers so i can mount it. and found a cheap driver set to swarzy up to make for my pilots tool kit.

updates form this weekend
Stickers sanded off and blended together, need to fill in the grove with some bondo.


Painted the inside of the helmet black.

Next pic how everything is gonna look once done.

My pilots tool kit painted up and ready to mount just need to swarzy up the tools a bit more.


And robot hand is almost done just need to run some wires lol.




plus got the hand plate secured to the other glove

as well as the names of the most imporant people in my life, my wife and kids in Mando'a, yes hard to see but up close its there on the back collar plate.
