Early Crusader V.2 W.i.P
« on: Jul 08, 2017, 12:12 AM »
So I had to rebuild a GREAT deal of my EC in an effort to meet the brigade fix list and in the process of doing so I figured since I was already "in there" so to speak. I would just go ahead and do a full V.2 upgrade.

I have been REALLY bad about posting up build pictures. But now that things are really starting to come into focus. I knew I should stop dragging my feet and get a W.i.P rolling. Decided to just start fresh as the V.1 W.i.P is just fully of broken links and images trapped away my Photobucket.

So anyway with further ado picture time!

There is still a LOT of fine tuning happening, even this pictures are already behind the curve and they are only from this morning...on the docket of things still to take carry of.
-Add metal bands in the same style as that are on the shins and the gauntlets to the left shoulder armor
-Add some sort of cloak
-Add additional details to the upper body to bring it in line with the level of detail on the lower body

Since these pictures, where take I have removed the strap across the chest, largely due to the fact that it was making the right shoulder buckle in a weird way that displeased me and I have added more to the chest plate to add more bone coverage to the ab area to continue the general bone/leather combo protection

All in all I am very happy with how this V.2 is shaping up and I am really enjoying, honing my leather working skills and I will say that have that full leather breastplate as a base for my chest armor is wonderful in terms of general comfort

Still a lot to do, and hopefully if the thunderstorms hold off for a bit and I get some major work done tomorrow.
