hey,

so I am super new to this, but here is my work in progress

I am almost happy with filling in the dent, I am using some hockey pads at the moment that have a knee joint, I dont think they will be approved but they are nice to practice with.

any tips would be really appreciated

hey everyone,

since we have been having some nice weather I have been able to keep painting, I've not done anything like this in sooo long but it has been really nice to get back in to it. I have had a few setbacks that I believe are just down to my impatience, as you can see a bubble formed, again I think this is because I must have applied a coat too thick and it didn't try correctly and when it was kept in a warm room this happened.

but luckily I think I have solved it, I haven't got my sketch pad out and I'm kinda winging it (probably not the best thing to do) but I am planning on a copper and sand colour scheme with a greenish patina on the outfit.
I have started adding colour and I am actually quite proud of my progres.

I saw a tutorial on here about painting to make it look like hammered metal and about aged metal I know I still have a long way to go but it seems to be going ok

I am still working full time so I don't have all the time in the world but fingers crossed I can keep the motivation up and keep going
