Reference time!
I was offline for a few days and only today I found out how much content we now have, even if the episodes will air next week. And it's more than enough for me to start on some changes I wanted to make, but first I need to make a change to the list of those changes xD
Some good screencaps:

And something I have been waiting for a loooong time:

Changes^^
- mount a jetpack higher
- shorten the backplate a bit and add a dark gray area to it.
-  ?? shorten the chest plates and with this everything below them will go higher
- craft the westars so then I could modify my thigh armor to be smaller, but still have functional holsters. And overall fix the thigh armor to be more accurate.
- No re-sew. Her suit appears almost black as mine, so I will only make a decant gray color pattern.
- Make a collar.
- EXTENSIVE WEATHERING. Sorry for caps, but I'm looking at this images and can't wait to do all the damage  xD
- Helmet ears should be fixed. No circles, those details are more of squares with circled tops. And lower part of the ears is painted dark gray.
- Belt: Small detail on the buckle, also the larger belt have small lines on it, to simulate a girth belt.
- Make a missile for the jetpack. It seems like most of the episode Bo won't have it, but I think it should be made for approval.
And this is it. If you have any more suggestions, I will be happy to hear them :)

Updating my breakdown of the costume ;) I started weathering the helmet and fixing my thigh armor to have more accurate parts.. And I realised that my old analysis needs update after the episodes. And because I'm adding new ref pics, new text, I decided to post it in a separate post. Also check the "jetpack" part, I made a missile an optional item and I want to know what you think!

•   Helmet
o   Must have a dark colored, full one piece "T" visor.
o   Must have a dark gray rangefinder "Rebels"-style (see Sabine's rangefinder for more detail) and stalk on the right side of the helmet.
o   The mandibles and fore head must be a white color.
o   The upper cheeks must be a darker blue/dark gray color.
o   The key slot area and rear rim must be middle-dark gray.
o   Both blues must match the visual references as closely as possible in similar lighting.
o   The dome, lower cheeks, and the back of the helmet must be blue in color.
o   The helmet must be weathered and should match the visual references as closely as possible.
o   Painting: Two light grey circle-like shapes on each side on top of t-shaped visor. The mandibles must have a slightly visible light gray pattern (weathering). Must have the large “V” logo at the center of the forehead that is black in color. Also 5 small black lines that start from the beginning of white area at dome. They end before the V logo.
o   The stalk of the range finder should be lowered into the ear piece on the right side of the helmet and has a dark gray/black piece (it's basically a square with rounded top corners) on top of it. On the left ear there must be identical piece.
o   There is a vertical line present on top of the ear pieces on both sides of the helmet. It should be light gray in color with a thin black lining.
o   The blue cheeks should be rounded at the top unlike the more tapered cheeks of Boba Fett.

Thank you all <3

Here is a small fun thing. I've mentioned that at first I wanted to do TCW version of Bo Katan, made something very rushed, and when I finally decided to right my wrongs the trailer for season 4 of Rebels came out and my TCW build evolved into Rebels. I just found a folder with photos of my progress, so I decided to do a collage from day 1 to the latest update. I repainted the helmet again and changed a visor shape a bit. For now, it looks better- just love the weathering on Bo's helmet!

The evolution of this build is astounding.
Incredible work!!

Thank you, I hope it will be even more noticable when I finish with my changes ;)

Some progress pics I never shared before:
At first, I think I haven't talked about my wig, I took one old yellowish wig, tried to dye it once a few years ago - it didn't work, and I tried to dye it again this summer and came out with this ginger-red color that I think can work for Bo here. So here's how the progress looks:
One more photo for shoulder armor in early stages, I spend so much paper trying to figure out where should I place the darts to make the armor as close to the actual shape as possible, so mb it will be usefull to someone -

Thigh armor and blasters.
Let me start with a big analsysis of the thigh armor and especially the holsters on it. When I made those only based on the trailer, I think their construction is simillar to the ones she has in Clone Wars. And it was a huge mistake, because later I practicaly tore them to pieces and made a new ones. Two images below show the most important part: the holsters are fixed on thigh armor in one point only and can freely move. For example, as she walks, holsters stay vertically, while the base moves with the leg.

How I've been changing it? I tore to pieces the armor, very lousy shortend it and made a more accurate shape (see first image for comparisson, on the left - old shape and size, and on the right - new one). Then I added another piece of sintra to holsters from the back side and then secured it on the base of the armor using bolts. If you don't make them too tight, the holsters can move on the armor as needed.

As for the blasters, I made them from sintra using pepakura files, there're lots of other examples of this method so I won't dive in to it. I'm more interested in the design, it's quite a shame that Bo don't have anything personal on her westars (like Sabine) and their pattern is standard to all other mandos in Rebels (Ursa, Fenn Rau, Tristan and etc..)

So this is how my almost finished blasters and new thigh armor look like, I'm quite happy with the result -

And now updates on everything else.
--Cod. I just cleaned up the edges and made the parts less curvy on sides

-- Belt. I made it wider (see images for comaprisson with a piece of the old belt), on a wider part I made lines to imitate the girth belt, as it look in the episode.

side note: I just noticed her pouches, they're interesting, should fix mine in a couple of days -
-- Back plate. As I've planned, I shortend it and fixed the coloring with weathering. I think it looks way cooler right now, kind of happy that it should actually look like this, because I didn't like my first, plane blue version..

-- Chest. Slightly shortend these two pieces by 1 inch or so. Also I had to work a bit more on the darts, because on some photos from the con, you could still see them. Shouldn't be any problems now.

-- Knee armor. Slightly worked on the shape and made a more accurate coloring and weathering. The first photo is from an early satges of my build and on the other photo you can see a comparisson between two versions.

I know, I should place it all on me to show how it all looks together, but I want to fix the suit and the jetpack first. Slowly (at least for my taste), but I'm getting there. For some reason I want this to be p.e.r.f.e.c.t.

Thanks! And - I want to say again, I appreciate any feedback, so if anyone have any thoughts of what else I should improve - I will be happy to hear it all ;)
Today I finally made up my mind on what I want to do with the suit and the vest, so I started the search for the right materials. Hopefully, I will find what I need in a few days, so I could fix all the soft parts this weekend, and (finally!) test it all on myself.

By the way, today I found this cool picture of the model for Bo's head band, I'm leaving it here, just in case anyone needs it someday. Source- https://imgur.com/gallery/MbswKJN

So far you've been doing amazing work on this kit.  And I don't have anything constructive to add to what you've been doing.  I'm confident, having read your entire WiP, that you've got a great handle on not only how to build a great kit, but also how to break down the source material to actually build it.

If I do see anything that could use improvement, I'll happily pass that along.  In the meantime, I'll just be watching for more updates.   ;D

Happy #MandoMonday!
And here I am with another update ;)
At first I worked a bit on my wig:

I also made a whole new vest, and I'm so so happy with it! I mean, sewing is a nightmare for me, I wanted to order the vest and fix the jumpsuit a bit. But the company where I wanted to order this, had set the price too high, so I decided it was a time to face my fears. So here are two photos of the progress (as you will see later I also fixed my suit)  :

Here's a pic of the progress of the boot armor, I made it a bit longer so it can curve as shown on concept.

And here's the good part! I talked about how many things I've changed and that I didn't have time to test it all on myself. Well, here it is. Everything I could think of - it's finished. I'm so sorry about the lightning on photos and the wierd angles I tired to compensate it with my camera, but it helped only a bit (I want to take photos of the suit and the vest tomorrow in the natural lighting so you could see the right colors). And well, I took all the photos myself, it was a bit hard to place my camera on something high enough and far enough from me. So this is all I've got right now. New vest absolutely saved me - the spacing right now is much better!

At first I only tried the armor on myself and only when the armor was on me, I tried my best try in make-up xD

And how could I missed anopportunity to take a photo with a porg ;)

Your kit is looking simply fantastic.  The only thing I'm seeing off-hand that needs any adjustment is your cod - you need to make sure that the top of the cod is covered by your belt.  And well done on facing your fears - you did a great job sewing.  And I absolutely love War Machine's upgraded look.   :P

Why should I fix the cod? I think this is only for custom kits and with canon kits you should look at reference pics. And here we are, the cod ends before the belt ;)

I was looking at some various screen-shots from the Rebels, and the ones I saw suggested that the belt covered the top of the cod.

Digging in a little further, it's less clear.  heh  Some references seem to show that there's a separation between the two, others show that the top of the cod is covered.

For now, just keep up with this awesome kit, and I'll see about getting a definitive answer to you as soon as we can.

Edit:
The consensus is that the cod butts up to, but isn't covered by, the belt.   :)

Alright ;) thanks. Btw it's really funny to see this exact example of her tcw armor for cod reference because this a screenshot from the episode when all Nite Owls and Bo Katan were missing one part of the three-piece cod
And well, if we're talking about episode screenshots for references.. Only in rebels I spotted so much problems with animations.. Sometimes her blasters just move through the armor, or the knife extends from the other side of the gautlent.. :-\

I've talked with a few people from Red Fist Clan and they also gave me some advices on the armor. So here's a short list of fixes I will be doing the next couple of days:
- Shoulders and collar/backplate armor shouldn't overlap
- Cod shape
- Shorten the distance between chest and collar (this will also result in expanding the distance between armor and the belt)
- Repaint the jetpack (noticed a few details that I've missed)
- make suit collar a bit darker
- fix thigh armor attachments
- slightly work on boot armor for better spacing

I fixed what I wanted and made a first step - send the application for Rebel Legion. I'm afraid that some photos could be blurry, because I was taking photos of myself - I will try to find better pictures and then post it here and mb even go for pre-app. So here's close up shots of the entire armor.
First - this is my close up photos that turned out better that the full-body shots:

And the whole armor parts:

Imma just say wow. That about sums it up.

Thank you <3
No word from RL yet, it's a new costume without CRL so I understand why it takes longer than usual.
I've been doing some minor adjustments, and well, here all sides in helmet and without it. Also photos of the westars, I forgot that I didn't posted them finished. Going to send this pack to our Ruus'alor to see if there is anything else...

P.s. Can't even look at pics from two months ago, so many things stand out immediately! That's what I don't like about later stages of the in-progress costume, you take lots of cool photos, and in a mounth you've change the costume so much - it's much better now, but those photos are not as cool as before.. Well, it also means that as soon as I'm finished, I'm going to take even more awesome photos 8)

As of yestarday my Bo Katan is approved by Rebel Legion!
With MMCC it's a bit harder, no crl yet, so I was recommended to wait for the end of the season because something might change. Then there will be CRL for Bo-Katan and I'm good to apply. I don't see how this could change much, mb one more episode (it's rumored that Bo will be in the season finale) will clarify my question about the missile on the jetpack though...I do have some thoughts about maaaay be remaking the jetpack.. just maaaay be if I'm really bored xD
For now I can just sit and wait and post more photos  :P
